While most people don’t think about scenic hikes through woods when talking about outdoor recreation on the Emerald Coast, there are a handful of state parks that provide plenty of family fun. Whether you’re hiking, biking, or taking a casual stroll, be sure to check out Topsail Hill Reserve State Park, Point Washington State Forest, Eden Gardens State Park, and Deer Lake State Park.
3. Explore Grayton Beach
Take a drive past Miramar Beach and Topsail Hill Reserve State Park to discover Grayton Beach. This quaint town and beautiful state park offers some of the most picturesque shorelines along the Emerald Coast. You can enjoy a variety of outdoor activities here, and there is plenty of room for you to kick back and relax on the sand without worrying about crowds of people.
